Mid-poly, ultimate-fidelity model of the F-16C Block 42.
Over six years ago, Metrea began work on the NOR simulator, with an F-16C Block 50 as its main test bed for the simulation. Today, we present an update to that asset in the form of the Block 42, with the PW F100 engine, as opposed to the GE F110 of the Blk 50. This is now being used in NOR by the United States Air Force.
--------------------
The F-16C is a single-engine, multirole fighter aircraft developed for the United States Air Force. Originally designed as a daytime air superiority fighter, it later evolved into a highly successful all-weather multirole aircraft, of which over 4600 have been built since 1976. Although it is no longer being purchased by the USAF, it has been successfully imported to many nation's air forces, seen action in multiple theatres, and continues to be upgraded to this day.
